Community Empowerment

Project Description

Aasthan Latif Welfare Society has been actively engaged in community organization through formation of community groups/CBOs/Committees and their capacity building through different methods including training, meetings etc. at village, taluka and district level for community empowerment for their rights protection and promotion & sustainability of its different community development activities & projects/ programs since 1989 . ALWS is also a pioneer in introducing concept of Village Education Committees at village level in whole of country for promotion of education at village levels which was later replicated by other NGOs throughout Pakistan.

Aasthan Latif Welfare Society has so far formed and capacitated some following community organizations (given at next page) during the period 1990-2014, who serve voluntarily for their respective community development projects/ programs/interventions at village, union council and taluka level:
